Dani Arnold was born in Seattle, but was in Onion Creek by the time she was in first grade. She started teaching at Onion Creek School in the 1992 school year. Graduating from WSU in 1986, she thought she was going to be a PE teacher, but then signed up for the education program instead. Dani believes that getting to know each individual student and knowing their growth needs and progress helps create an inclusive and positive learning environment, and thinks that one lesson the students should take away from being in her class is learning how to work with others and to show kindness. Outside of school, she likes to take care of her horses.
