Madeline Vega was born in Alaska, but grew up in Colville. She got her undergraduate degree at the University of Portland, then proceeded to get her masters at Whitworth University. Working as a sub in South America, Madeline enjoyed working with all the children and came back to the United States with a newfound passion for teaching. She creates a creative and inclusive work environment by trying to meet each of the students and understand their wants and needs, as well as where they are at in their learning journey. One lesson Madeline believes students should take away from attending her class is to always believe in themselves. Outside of school, Madeline loves spending time with her family and traveling as much as she can.
